Daily Survival Kit
Last month we printed the list of items in the Daily Survival Kit, items we need to survive and thrive day-to-day. Did you figure out what each item was for?
Here's the explanation:
Bandage…to remind you to heal hurt feelings, yours or someone else's.
Candy kiss…to remind you that everyone needs a kiss or a hug everyday.
Chewing gum…to remind you to stick with it and you can accomplish anything.
Eraser…to remind you that everyone makes mistakes, and it's OK.
Mint…to remind you that you are worth a mint.
Pencil…to remind you to list your blessings everyday.
Rubber band…to remind you to be flexible; while things might not always go the way you want, they will work out.
Tea bag…to remind you to relax daily and reflect on all the positive things in your life.
Toothpick…to remind you to pick out the good qualities in others.
This is an excellent kit to keep with you always. It will help you to be positive in negative situations, upbeat during difficult times, relaxed instead of stressed out, accepting and forgiving rather than being mad at the world and the people around you for what happens in your life. And, who doesn't want a more peaceful life?
We received feedback from last month's issue, people telling us about other survival kits. Do you have a survival kit you would like to share with us? Tell us about it… information@dimension11.com. We could share them with everyone by posting them on our website.

Entrepreneurs, Take Time For You
Entrepreneurs, stop what you are doing and pay attention! If you are so focussed on your business that you forget about everything else, it's time to take a step back and check your balance. After all, who'll take care of business while you are recuperating from an illness or breakdown?
Take care of yourself first, so you have the energy, creativity, and resources to grow your business.
  • Eat healthfully and somewhere other than your desk
  • Get enough rest (four hours a night doesn't cut it)
  • Exercise a bit each day (notice I said a bit)
  • Relax…do something you enjoy that has nothing to do with work, so your mind gets a break, too
These aren't options; they're vital to keeping you energized, healthy and in top form, just the way you need to be to keep your business in top form, too.
